Returned my MacBook Pro 2020 to Apple PH for a new MBP 2020 M1 Chip Model (Purchased from Apple US with shipping fee to PH)
Oct. 25, 2020 – Order date from Apple PH store online
Nov. 10 – Apple announced the new MBP M1 chip model
Nov. 13 – called Apple to cancel my order or replace MBP for an M1 version.
However, they cannot replace my order but rather refund the item and order again.
Nov. 16 – but still…package was delivered.
Nov. 17 – called Apple again so I can return the MBP intel version. They scheduled a pick-up date. Then on
Nov. 19 – package what picked-up by DHL.
*refund took less than a week.
Nov. 19 – same day when I ordered my MBP M1 chip model from Apple store US (with shipping fee to PH)
*due to BLACK FRIDAY DEALS AND HOLIDAY RUSH, my shipment was delayed going to the PH
Jan. 2, 2021 – Package arrived in MANILA
*good thing I ordered through apple online and not from physical stores or online resellers (which they don’t accept replacement unless perhaps if the MBP has issues)
*i received my MBP M1 version a week earlier compared to Apple PH ETA
*it took so long that I almost want to buy from Greenhills or other online resellers here in the Philippines
*although resellers such as PowerMac offer installments, I still opted to buy from apple online which saved my lots of money 😆
